QD-SOL Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Golden Energy Power (TASE: GNENERGY), proudly announces a breakthrough achievement in green hydrogen technology: for the first time, multiple photocatalytic panels have been successfully connected into a single array, continuously producing green hydrogen at industrial scale.

Unlike traditional solar or electrolysis-based systems, QD-SOL’s photocatalytic panels operate completely off-grid. By combining only sunlight and water, the panels trigger a natural reaction that splits water molecules into clean hydrogen, with no electricity, no external connections, and zero emissions. This breakthrough demonstrates the scalability of the technology from a single panel to a fully functional array, marking a decisive step toward commercial readiness.

Stella Weinstein, CEO of QD-SOL, shared her excitement:

“This is an extraordinary moment for us. For the first time, we proved that a connected array of photocatalytic panels can reliably and continuously produce green hydrogen at scale. It’s not just a lab experiment anymore, it’s a working model of the future of clean fuel. On a personal level, this achievement excites me deeply because it brings Israel closer to becoming fully energy independent. In today’s world, energy stability is critical for national security and economic resilience, and QD-SOL is proud to be leading that path with a homegrown Israeli innovation.”

The experiment showcased an array of four interconnected panels operating simultaneously, with advanced circulation, solution refresh, filtration, and hydrogen output measurement. The results provide clear evidence that the technology can deliver stable, autonomous, and sustainable hydrogen production, paving the way for large-scale deployment.

In the coming months, QD-SOL will integrate its proven autonomous operation capabilities into the array, completing the vision of a fully self-sustaining system capable of producing green hydrogen independently and continuously under real-world outdoor conditions.

Founded in 2021 and acquired in 2024 by Golden Energy Power, QD-SOL is pioneering one of the most ambitious clean-tech solutions of the decade: producing green hydrogen directly from sunlight and water, a disruptive technology with the potential to reshape the global energy landscape and secure a sustainable, independent future.
