Why Satmar Hasidim Will Get Jews Killed | WATCH

It's so depressing to see the spectacle that will happen on Sunday with the two rebbes and their followers coming out at such a volatile time for the people of Israel, for seven million Jews. Really, it is incredible. It is sad.

We had a Beit HaMikdash, a Jewish temple that was destroyed not because people weren't learning Torah and studying and being very religious, quote unquote, but because of sinat chinam, because Jews undermined other Jews. And I gotta tell you that I hate to say this, but if there was a Beit Hamikdash right now, it would be in danger because of this kind of behavior that will be displayed tomorrow.

Satmar hired a top-notch public relations firm. I mean, top top-notch. They're paying a lot of money for this public relations guy to spread the word that undermines all the people of Israel. Part of the message they're telling you is the Israeli government is snatching students and trying to force them to join the army.

But if you read the press release, it is so depressing. It is so sad. Calling for an end, first of all, calling for an end to Israel's violent wars. What exactly are they talking about? What violent war? The one that resulted from 1200 people being massacred, butchered in the most horrible things happening to those 1200 people, and 251 of them being kidnapped?

What violent wars? Israel has violent wars, by the way, all wars are violent.

Let me tell you who really appreciates this release: Hamas, the people in the streets of New York and America and all over the world demonstrating in support of these radical Islamists.

By the way, the press release says the demonstration is to deal with the persecution of Orthodox Jews in Israel. There are more than 25 members of the Knesset who are Orthodox Jews, including from the Hasidic groups, they're part of the government, they're part of the coalition. I mean, persecution of Orthodox Jews?

I have no doubt that Hashem is crying. No doubt in my mind. No doubt in my mind. I even hear that Mamdani maybe speaking at this rally tomorrow at 5:30 or so. I don't know if that's correct, but you know what? It would make sense. It would fit in perfectly. Mamdani loves what he sees in this press release, you know, that was put out—Satmar authorized—for him. He celebrates it: Jews undermining Jews.

And one of the things that they say is, you know, there's no fighting going on right now, so it was okay to do this. They wouldn't do it if there was actually fighting. What are they talking about? Zev, there are hundreds of thousands of soldiers on the front lines. It is a very dangerous situation. What are they trying to fool everybody and lie to everybody? Now, I know there's an issue of the draft and we can talk about that.

You have Ger, Belz, Vizhnitz in Israel, all these other groups, none of them are supporting this. What about all the Hasidic groups in Borough Park? Is Bobov part of this tomorrow? And other groups in the Jewish communities?

They have a right to demonstrate and they have a right to do exactly what they're doing tomorrow. But they are undermining the Jewish people. They are hurting the Jewish people. They are encouraging anti-Semitism and they are doing something that is so horrific, it's horrific. You know, I know Satmar ... But what they are doing tomorrow undermines the entire Jewish people and endangers the Jewish people.

There is nothing positive about what they are doing tomorrow in the streets of New York. Our enemies, Al Jazeera, which is the most anti-Semitic network in the world, the most anti-Israel people network, they will be covering this in great detail, and so will the enemies of Israel. What a beautiful picture of thousands and thousands of Jews undermining the State of Israel.

I understand Satmar doesn't recognize the State of Israel. That's fine. They have a right to their point of view.

But don't you understand? Jews have suffered when one Jew stabs another Jew and undermines another Jew. This is not healthy. This is dangerous and will cause hate against Jews, attacks upon Jews. Make no mistake about this. There is no excuse for this, period.

Hilkind: They really just don't care. You know, God forbid, I was about to say something that would really get me in trouble, but there are other extremist religious groups, not Jewish ones, you know, who do it for God. It's all for God, you know? Of course, they're all doing it for God, right? This is what Hashem wants, really? You really believe right now, with the pain that Israel has gone through, the difficulties, the challenges, the soldiers who have given their lives, as you point out, those Israeli soldiers, those Zionist soldiers, they protect all the people of Israel, including Satmar Hasidim in Israel. They protect everybody.

It always seems like Satmar is moving closer and closer, beginning to look like the Neturei Karta. They're moving closer and closer to the Neturei Karta that meet with Iran, that meet with the terrorists. They also do not believe in a Jewish state, and that's fine. I have never criticized anyone for that belief. You have a right to believe that based on your rabbis, but don't undermine all the Jewish people.

What you do is going to hurt every single Jew in the world, in France, in England, and all over the world. You know what's going on with anti-Semitism. This will just encourage it.
