Israeli musicians Yonatan Klimi and Tamar Yahalomi recently commissioned and donated a new Torah scroll to the community, participating in a ceremonial completion attended by Rabbi Yigal Kahane, a prominent Israeli religious educator and speaker known for his outreach work. The event featured the traditional practice of writing the final letters of the scroll, with participants taking turns holding the quill.
Rabbi Kahane expressed deep appreciation for the artists' contribution during the gathering. "You are sanctifying G-d's name in a very great way," he told the musicians at the celebration. Those present described an atmosphere filled with joy and spiritual connection as the community gathered to mark the completion of the sacred text.
