The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released dramatic drone footage on Wednesday evening documenting what it described as the "systematic and cynical" misuse of medical vehicles by Hamas militants in northern Gaza.

The footage, captured by routine surveillance drones operating near the "Yellow Line" in the Jabaliya region, shows armed militants loading military equipment and weaponry into an ambulance. According to the IDF spokesperson, the vehicle was being used to ferry operatives and arms between a local hospital and a nearby school.

The IDF stated that the documentation provides further proof of how Hamas exploits civilian infrastructure, specifically medical and educational facilities, to shield its military activities.

"This is another example of the cynical exploitation that Hamas regularly performs," the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement. "By operating under the cover of a civilian population and utilizing emergency systems for terror purposes, Hamas is committing a blatant violation of international law."

The release of the footage comes at a sensitive time, as the IDF warned that Hamas is utilizing the current lull in major hostilities to reorganize its fractured forces.

"Since the ceasefire took effect, Hamas has consistently violated the agreement by focusing its efforts on rehabilitating its military capabilities," the statement continued. The IDF noted that the movement of weapons during this period is a direct attempt by the group to prepare for a resumption of high-intensity conflict.

Military officials clarified that the IDF will continue to monitor all medical and educational institutions used as terror hubs. While the IDF remains committed to international legal standards, the spokesperson emphasized that the military would not grant immunity to terror infrastructure simply because it is embedded within civilian sites.
