The death of MSgt. Bianco adds to a difficult week for the IDF in Lebanon. Just days ago, Staff Sergeant Touvel Yosef Lifshiz of the Golani Brigade’s 13th Battalion was killed in a separate engagement that left five other soldiers wounded.
The 188th "Barak" Brigade remains stationed in the sector, tasked with removing the Hezbollah threat from Israel’s northern border.
