IRON RAIN: Thousands of Tons of Missiles and Armored Vehicles Flood Into Israel in Massive 24-Hour Resupply
Within 24 hours, thousands of tons of military gear, including JLTVs and aerial munitions, arrived in Israel via sea and air. Since the start of Operation "Lion's Roar," over 115,600 tons of equipment have been delivered to bolster IDF operational readiness.

Israel’s Ministry of Defense has completed a massive 24-hour logistical operation, overseeing the arrival of two cargo ships and multiple transport planes carrying thousands of tons of advanced munitions and combat equipment.
The shipments arrived on Thursday at the ports of Ashdod and Haifa as part of a global procurement effort led by the Ministry of Defense's procurement mission in the U.S., the International Defense Transportation unit, and the IDF Planning Directorate.

As soon as it arrived, the equipment was immediately loaded onto hundreds of trucks from the IDF’s Technology and Logistics Directorate and transported to bases across the country.
Operation "Lion's Roar": By the Numbers
Ministry of Defense Director General, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram, personally supervised the operation at Ashdod Port. He noted that since the start of Operation "Lion's Roar," the scale of the military sealift and airlift has reached historic proportions:
"At any given moment, cargo planes and ships are making their way to Israel," Baram stated. "This is part of the Ministry's strategy to support the IDF’s needs, both for immediate massive procurement and for long-term readiness for an intensive security decade."
Minister of Defense Israel Katz emphasized that the expanding sea and air corridors are vital to maintaining the IDF’s edge in a multi-arena conflict.
"The state of Israel is prepared at any moment to act against its enemies, in any arena and any place required," Katz said. "Our role is to ensure that the IDF receives all the necessary means so that it can return to act with full force. We will continue to strengthen these capabilities to ensure Israel has the tools to protect its citizens and decisive victory over its enemies."
Officials confirmed that the procurement and transport operations will continue and likely intensify in the coming weeks.
