Security Forces Arrest 37 Suspects Overnight
37 suspects were arrested during a broad anti-terror sweep throughout Judea and Samaria and many weapons confiscated.



During the night (Tuesday), security forces including the IDF, the Shin Bet, and the Border Guard arrested 37 suspects throughout Judea and Samaria, over ten of whom are affiliated with Hamas. Many weapons and inciting materials were found; the forces located a great deal of equipment and Hamas displays used by student cells for military parades and demonstrations.
In a counter-terror operation in the city of Qalqiliya, many suspects were interrogated and three wanted ones arrested. During the activity, armed men fired at the forces who returned fire; hits were registered.
During the activity of security forces in Bir Zeit, warehouses were located at Shin Bet direction close to Bir Zeit University which contained a great deal of Hamas equipment including displays of weapons used by Hamas student cells for military parades and pro-terrorist demonstrations.
In the villages of Aqabah and Isa, Carlo-type weapons and hunting rifles were confiscated. At Ein Yabrud in the Binyamin area, two air pistols, weapons, and Hamas flags were seized. Air weapons were found in the city of Hebron and improvised weapons in Beit Fajjar.
Since the beginning of the war, over 1,430 suspects were arrested throughout the Judea and Samaria and Jordan Valley regions, over 900 of whom are affiliated with Hamas.
