Large numbers of IDF and police forces have been operating in Jenin the last few hours. Terrorists opened fire on them and were struck from the air.
Security forces have been operating in the past few hours in the city and refugee camp of Jenin. Engineering vehicles paved the way, scraping the roads in order to expose bombs.
They were followed by special forces which closed in on a number of homes in the city and activated a “pressure cooker” procedure when surrounding a suspect’s home. If they refuse to come out, the forces begin to demolish the home with live fire, missiles, and engineering vehicles.

There was an exchange of fire with terrorists during the operation. An aircraft launched a missile towards a terrorist squad, killing at least 4 and wounding others. A number of terrorists were hit in other firefights with security forces. One of those killed is an officer in the Palestinian Authority’s security agencies.
