Israel-Gaza War, Hamas
Between Swing Sets and Slides: How Hamas Hides Behind Civilians | Watch
Special footage has been released from the Gaza Strip, showing how Hamas embeds itself among civilians, including children. Watch:

The IDF presented the international press today (Tuesday) with Hamas’ methods of turning civilian neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip into terrorist operational areas for fighting the IDF.
The clip below shows an example from the Shati neighborhood in the northern Gaza Strip. As can be seen, Hamas uses civilian infrastructures like children’s schools and civilian homes to hide their terror infrastructures and fight IDF forces:
The Hamas terror organization systematically establishes terrorist organizations in civilian structures like schools, children’s parks, mosques, and other such places. Among the terrorist infrastructure found by IDF forces in civilian areas were underground tunnels, hiding places for terrorists, war rooms for running operations, positions for launching rockets and anti-tank missiles, and weapons warehouses. These terrorist infrastructures were located in civilian buildings in order to use Gazan residents as “human shields” for the group’s members.
Hamas’ operational approach involves maximal exploitation of these institutions both below and above ground, with the belief that Israel will not operate in those areas. As proven over and over, the civilian institutions in the Gaza Strip under Hamas rule effectively serve as terror bases.
