Lebanese Media: European and Western Diplomats Advising Hezbollah to Lower Intensity of Attacks
According to Lebanese news portal Naharnet, western diplomats have been advising Hezbollah to reduce the intensity of its attacks across the border, so as to avoid an Israeli invasion.

European and western diplomats are advising Hezbollah to lower the intensity of their raids and projectile launches across the border to dissuade Israel from launching an invasion to end the threat, according to Lebanese news portal Naharnet.
According to the report, diplomats are warning that the removal of units from the fighting in Gaza means Israel is now looking northward to remove the threat to its northern border, and are thus advising Hezbollah to reduce Israel's cause for going to war there.
The aim of a war in the north, if launched, would be to defeat the threat to the civilian population there and ensure the tens of thousands of evacuees can return safely, according to official statements. Israeli media outlets have noted that the patience of the Israeli government is running out on an end to the conflict on the northern border.
