The IDF has developed a ground sensor-based "Hunter" system for spotting threats throughout the combat zone of the Gaza Strip, allowing it to quickly identify and eliminate targets very quickly.

Developed at the beginning of the war within a month, the system allows intelligence units to collect, assess, and then decide how to deal with identified threats in a short time, including terrorists who launch projectiles into Israel and try to flee.

The IDF now seeks to aim to make Hunter more widely used and integrated to allow for far faster responses and threat identification.
