The UN Security Council is set to convene today (Sunday) at 4 PM EST to discuss the Iranian missile and drone attack against Israel last night. The forces of Israel and supporting countries including the United States and Jordan helped intercept the overwhelming majority of the projectiles.

Israel UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan stated that in his speech before the Security Council, he intends to call not only for a condemnation of Iran for its attack but also the designation of the Iranian IRGC, which coordinates terrorist actions against Israel and countries throughout the Middle East, as a terrorist organization.

The G7 issued a statement in support of Israel and in condemnation of Iran, reaffirming their "demand that Iran and its proxies cease their attacks, and we stand ready to take further measures now and in response to further destabilizing initiatives."
