A brigade level offensive led by the Paratrooper Brigade's combat team in the heart of the old and new markets in Jebaliya has led to the elimination of about a hundred terrorists in close encounters.

The soldiers also neutralized multiple booby traps and buildings rigged with explosives.

The forces also raided the Hamas General Security HQ in the heart of Jebaliya and the home of the northern brigade commander of Islamic Jihad, locating multiple weapons and important intelligence documents.
