Cleared for publication: IDF officer seriously wounded in Gaza

IDF 82nd Battalion officer sustains serious injuries in northern Gaza clash.

The IDF Spokesperson's Unit announced on Monday morning that an officer from the 82nd Armored Battalion of the 7th "Saar me-Golan" Armored Brigade was seriously injured in battle in the northern Gaza Strip, as reported by Arutz 7. The officer was immediately taken for medical treatment and his family has been notified.

On Sunday, it was reported that Major Jalaa Ibrahim, 25, from the Druze town of Sajur, fell during combat in the southern Gaza Strip. Major Ibrahim, a Company Commander in the 601st Engineering Battalion, 401st Brigade, is the 11th Druze community member to lose his life in the war.
