Justice served! "Tinder Swindler" forced to pay almost half a million NIS to ex

An Israeli court ruled that Simon Leviev, the "Tinder Swindler," will have to pay almost half a million NIS to his ex-partner, due to money he fraudulently took from her and the emotional harm he caused her.

In a lawsuit filed by his ex-partner, the court ruled that Simon Leviev, known as the "Tinder Swindler," will pay a financial fine due to money he fraudulently extracted from her and due to emotional damages.

According to the court ruling, Leviev will have to pay her 414,000 NIS. "We are happy that the court did justice with my plaintiff client and charged Mister Simon Leviev. The joy is dual in light of Leviev's countersuit being summarily dismissed," said Adv. Ori Nachmias.

Leviev, born in Bnei Brak as Simon Hayut, became one of the most famous Israelis in the world - and not for a good reason. On February 2, Netflix released a documentary tracing Leviev's antics - an Israeli pretending to be the son of Lev Leviev, was immensely popular and was among the top 5 watched on Netflix.

Leviev lived an ostentatious lifestyle, funded by emotionally extorting women, using this to find victims.
