Alongside the progress in the Jenin area, under the direction of the political echelon, the campaign in northern Samaria will most likely expand to other places. This comes as part of the deal with Hamas, wherein hundreds of terrorists are released with blood on their hands, and some of them are already roaming freely throughout Judea and Samaria.

On Saturday night, dozens of parents of soldiers in the Egoz unit had appealed to the Prime Minister and the Defense Minister to demand a change in the manner of fighting in Jenin. The request comes especially in light of the fact that terrorists with blood on their hands were released there as part of the latest deal with Hamas for the release of the hostages.

The main demands are to cover soldiers with aircraft and to precede ground operations by air attacks. "Our sons are not supposed to fight in the alleys in 'cops and thieves' battles in an arena full of terrorists armed with weapons, IEDs and anti-tank launchers that the security establishment did not have the wisdom to prevent in advance."
