The office of New York City official Zohran Mamdani clashed with executives at the ABC network after Sara Haines, co-host of the popular talk show "The View" labeled a socialist congressional candidate endorsed by Mamdani as "antisemitic."
Mamdani recently strengthened his political influence when three candidates he endorsed won their Democratic primary elections in New York. Following those victories, his office attempted to book the candidates for an appearance on The View, but the show's production team rejected the request.
