BREAKING: Hezbollah Officially Declared War on Israel
The Second Front Ignites: IDF declares a state of total war as Hezbollah launches a massive precision-missile barrage on Northern Israel, following orders from a decapitated Tehran.
The long-feared "nightmare scenario" has materialized.
In the last hour, the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah launched a massive, coordinated barrage of dozens of rockets, missiles and suicide drones targeting Northern Israel, effectively ending cross-border skirmishes and plunging the region into a multi-front war.
"A De Facto Declaration of War"
The IDF confirmed that the scale and nature of the latest strikes. Constituting an acknowledgement of a declaration of war by Hezbollah.
Eyal Zamir, The Chief of Staff made a situational assessment: "Hezbollah launched a campaign against Israel tonight, and the responsibility for this escalation lies solely with them. As part of our operational planning for Operation 'Lion’s Roar,' we prepared for a multi-front scenario and an offensive campaign against Hezbollah. Any enemy that threatens our security will pay a heavy price, we will not allow any harm to the citizens of Israel or the northern border."
Amidst the escalating violence, the Lebanese Prime Minister issued a stern condemnation of the missile launches originating from Southern Lebanon, characterizing the act as "irresponsible and suspicious," regardless of the faction responsible.
He warned that such provocations jeopardize Lebanon’s national security and territorial integrity while providing Israel with "pretexts" to persist in its military campaign.
Emphasizing a desire to avoid further conflict, the Prime Minister stated that the government would not allow the country to be "dragged into new adventures" and vowed to take all necessary measures to halt military operations and protect the Lebanese people.
Northern Israel Under Fire
Sirens have been sounding continuously across the Galilee and the Golan Heights. Direct hits have been reported in Kiryat Shmona, Safed and Haifa, and several military installations near the border. Israeli Iron Dome and David’s Sling batteries were engaged.
Rockets were also shot towards Tel Aviv.
The Iranian Connection
Intelligence officials believe Hezbollah’s leadership received a "final order" from remnants of the IRGC to activate their entire arsenal in a desperate bid to save the "Axis of Resistance."
IDF Response
In retaliation, the Israeli Air Force has begun a massive wave of "pre-planned" strikes against Hezbollah’s strategic missile silos and command centers in Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, and Southern Lebanon.
The Home Front Command has ordered all residents from Haifa northward to remain in bomb shelters until further notice.
