Netanyahu Declares Historic Victory Over Iran: "Regime Decapitated"
From "decapitating" the Iranian leadership to dismantling its nuclear core, Netanyahu details a total strategic reversal, claiming the end of the "octopus" and a new era of Israeli-American dominance in the Middle East.

In a dramatic televised briefing, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israel has achieved "historic gains" following massive military operations against Iran and its regional proxies. Netanyahu characterized the current state of the conflict as a total reversal of fortunes, asserting that while Iran once attempted to "strangle" Israel, it is now the Iranian regime that is "fighting for survival".
"The Head of the Octopus": Decapitation of the Iranian Regime
Netanyahu detailed a list of high-value targets eliminated during recent campaigns, most notably claiming the assassination of Iran’s Leader, Ali Khamenei. According to the Prime Minister, the strike also neutralized Khamenei’s deputy, Ali Larijani, along with the Iranian Defense Minister, the Intelligence Minister, the Chief of Staff, and the entire top tier of the IRGC and Quds Force leadership.
Beyond the leadership, Netanyahu claimed that Israeli strikes decimated Iran’s economic backbone, hitting the steel industry and three-quarters of the country's petrochemical plants, the primary funding sources for the IRGC. "Iran is no longer the same Iran," he stated, describing the regime as "weakened to its lowest level since its founding 47 years ago".
Nuclear Facilities and Missile Industry Dismantled
A major portion of the briefing focused on the destruction of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. Netanyahu revealed that Israeli operations, including "Rising Lion" and "Lion's Roar" targeted underground facilities that were previously thought to be impenetrable.
Key claims include:
Shifts in Lebanon and Gaza
Turning to regional proxies, Netanyahu claimed that Hezbollah has been effectively neutralized as a strategic threat. He cited the elimination of Hassan Nasrallah and the destruction of the vast majority of Hezbollah’s 150,000 rockets in a single six-hour operation. Israel has established an 8-to-10-kilometer security buffer in Southern Lebanon to protect northern residents.
Most surprisingly, Netanyahu revealed that Lebanon has reached out for direct peace talks multiple times in the last month. He stated that any such peace would be contingent on the total disarmament of Hezbollah.
In Gaza, he claimed Israel now controls over 50% of the territory, "tightening the grip" on Hamas.
The U.S. Alliance and the "Final Offer"
Netanyahu praised the unprecedented cooperation with the United States under President Donald Trump, noting that American forces fought "wing to wing" with Israel for nearly 40 days.
Netanyahu emphasized that the remaining enriched uranium must be removed from Iranian soil. "It will either leave by agreement or by other means," he warned.
A New Regional Power
Concluding his remarks, the Prime Minister described Israel as the "strongest regional power" and a "global power" in many respects. He credited the "bold and calculated decisions" of his government and the bravery of Israeli pilots and soldiers for changing the entire balance of power in the Middle East.
"We have turned fear into pride," Netanyahu said. "Israel is different today, stronger than ever".
