At the same time, the engineering forces are also working to create deterrence throughout the Palestinian settlements and in recent days the forces have destroyed 9 houses of terrorists and Hamas operatives and neutralized dozens of explosive devices in recent operations using engineering tools.

The engineering commander in command, Col. Adir Raines says that "the engineering forces in the brigades, division and command are working to strengthen the security elements and the organization of the operational space in defense. This is by building obstacles, shielding our forces and thickening the array of positions and outposts in settlements and roads."

"At the same time," says Raines, "the engineering formation works in the offensive activity of destroying terrorist houses, overcoming charges and damaging enemy infrastructure in the refugee camps. The formation works day and night to strengthen the security of our forces and the residents."
