Have Iranian "Sleeper Cells Been Activated in America?
FBI and local authorities investigate a string of violent incidents, including an attempted TATP bombing in NYC and a deadly mass shooting in Austin. Concerns grow over the potential activation of "sleeper cells" following U.S. strikes on Iran.
Yesterday's Islamist terror attack in NYC added to two more suspected attacks in Texas raise fears that "Sleeping cells" are being activated".
On March 8, 2026 the Gateway Pundit reported "The two homemade bombs that failed to detonate at a counter-protest against an anti-Islam demonstration in New York City on Saturday contained the deadly explosive TATP (triacetone triperoxide), aka “Mother of Satan,” that is favored by Islamist terrorists, according to reports. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force has reportedly taken the lead in the investigation.
"One bomb was thrown at an anti-Islam rally held at Gracie Mansion, official home to New York City’s first Muslim mayor, Zohran Mamdani, that was led by controversial J6er Jake Lang. One suspect reportedly yelled “Allahu akbar” when the bomb was thrown. The second bomb was dropped after being ignited by a fleeing suspect. Neither of the bombs, which reportedly contained nuts and bolts, went off–saving countless lives. New York City police ran to the danger and secured the bombs. (A third suspected device is being investigated after being found several blocks away from Gracie Mansion on Sunday.)
"Two men from Pennsylvania, Emir Bala, 18, and Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, were arrested at the scene in connection to the attempted bombings. The New York Post reported the men are “self-radicalized” supporters of ISIS and confessed to the bombing. Both men reportedly had recently traveled to the Middle East..."
In another incident in Texas a boy was killed in a suspected ramming attack.
On March 6, 2026 the Gateway Pundit reported "A devout teen boy with his whole life ahead of him was killed earlier this week in Texas by an incredibly reckless driver. As WFAA reported, a white Lincoln Navigator with four occupants was struck by a blue Chevrolet Volt driven by 30-year-old Murad Omar Houry of Plano on March 2. Houry was heading south on the roadway before he lost control and crossed the center median. He ended up hitting the white Lincoln Navigator traveling north on Independence Parkway..."
Was this an accident or a car ramming attack by a "sleeping cell"?
On March 1, 2026 the Gateway Pundit reported "The mass shooter in Austin, Texas, who killed two and injured 14 others on Sunday morning, has reportedly been identified as Ndiaga Diagne, a 53-year-old Senegalese immigrant who was living in Pflugerville, Texas, as a naturalized citizen. Police reportedly also found a Quran in his car, and he was wearing clothing that said “Property of Allah” and a shirt that had Iranian representations on it..."
