Iran's Revolutionary Guards announced early this morning that they had carried out strikes against what they described as American military infrastructure across the Middle East, including satellite communication systems.
In a statement released by the Revolutionary Guards, the Iranian military claimed the attacks were part of an ongoing operation they call "Thunder 31," which they characterized as retaliation for casualties among Iranian missile forces. According to the statement, Iranian forces "attacked satellite communication systems at Al Minhad base in the United Arab Emirates."
The Revolutionary Guards also claimed to have struck additional targets, including "equipment warehouses and fighter jet storage facilities belonging to the American military at Al Jaber base in Kuwait."
The Iranian statement further asserted that "as part of the operation, strikes were also carried out against new radar systems that were only recently deployed in the region."
The claims could not be independently verified, and neither U.S. Central Command nor officials in the UAE or Kuwait have issued statements confirming the alleged attacks at the time of publication.
