The lyrics cleverly combine traditional Chanukah prayer text ("Al HaNissim") with playful modern Hebrew, creating a catchy song about Chanukah's festive elements - the dreidel, sufganiyot, and the nightly candle lighting.
Young singer-songwriter Elchanan Shaw released an original Chanukah single called "Sufganiyah".
