North Under Fire: Hezbollah’s Drone Swarm Hits Israel as IDF Pounds Bint Jbeil
Northern Israel faces a relentless drone and rocket assault as the IDF's 98th Division encircles Bint Jbeil.

Despite ongoing ceasefire negotiations, Hezbollah has launched a massive, coordinated assault on Northern Israel today (Monday). The onslaught included a wave of six drones and non-stop rocket barrages, triggering alarms from the Galilee to the Krayot.
Israeli defense officials confirmed that three drones infiltrated Israeli airspace in the last hour alone. While one was successfully intercepted over the Western Galilee, contact was lost with another, forcing residents into bomb shelters for nearly 40 minutes before the Home Front Command issued an all-clear.
Battle for the "Terror Capital"
On the ground, the IDF’s 98th Division has completed the encirclement of Bint Jbeil, a strategic Hezbollah stronghold in Southern Lebanon. In fierce house-to-house combat and precision airstrikes, Israeli forces have reportedly eliminated over 100 terrorists.
Combat engineers from the Yahalom unit and the 7th Brigade also destroyed a significant underground tunnel network. The IDF stated the tunnels were being used as staging grounds for imminent ambushes against Israeli troops operating in the sector.
State of Emergency Extended
Citing "uncertainty regarding the ceasefire with Iran" and the persistent threat of long-range fire, the Israeli government is expected to approve an extension of the National Special Home Front Situation until April 28. Security assessments indicate that Hezbollah intends to continue targeting civilian population centers despite the diplomatic pressure in the region.
