IDF: Over 700 terrorists eliminated in Judea and Samaria since Oct 7

The IDF announced today (Wednesday) that over 100 terrorists have been eliminated in Judea and Samaria since the launching of Operation Iron Wall in northern Samaria a few months ago.

"As part of "Operation Iron Wall" in northern Samaria, which has been ongoing for more than 100 days, IDF forces, Shin Bet, Border Police, and the Judea and Samaria District are working to thwart organized terrorist infrastructure in the terrorism hotspots in northern Samaria - the "Kataeb" (battalions).

"Since the beginning of the operation, more than 100 terrorists have been eliminated, approximately 320 wanted individuals have been arrested, and about 450 different weapons have been confiscated. Additionally, hundreds of roadside bombs and pipe bombs have been destroyed, along with dozens of houses that served as explosives laboratories and weapons facilities.

"Furthermore, since the beginning of the war, security forces have eliminated more than 700 terrorists in northern Samaria, including 36 senior terrorists in terrorist organizations.

"To prevent terrorism from re-establishing itself in northern Samaria, the IDF is making changes to the camps - including breaking through routes and roads, in order to create freedom of movement and operation for IDF forces in the area. As part of this, Central Command announced its intention to demolish a series of houses in the camps. The demolition of houses is carried out after lengthy discussions and examination, while minimizing demolition to the smallest possible number that will ensure security."
