IDF eliminates terrorist near Sidon with ties to multiple Jihadist groups
Assassination follows strategic airstrike on senior Hezbollah smuggling operative earlier this week.

IDF forces killed a terrorist belonging to the Hamas and Jama'a Islamiyya terrorist organizations, near Sidon, Lebanon, Channel 14's military correspondent Hillel Biton Rosen reported today (Tuesday).
He also reported that an Israeli aircraft fired precision munitions that hit the vehicle in which he was traveling. The terrorist is suspected of trying to promote significant terror plots against Israel and its citizens.
The Lebanese channel Al-Jadeed reported this morning that the name of the terrorist targeted was Hussein Atawi, who serves as a commander in the military wing of the local terrorist organization.
The attack comes after the IDF carried out an airstrike in southern Lebanon earlier this week against terrorist Hussein Ali Nasr – deputy commander of Unit 4400 in the Hezbollah terror organization, who was involved in smuggling weapons and money.
