Just Long Enough
To bring Edan Alexander home, Israel will pause the war
Israeli sources speaking to Maariv said that Edan Alexander will be released within 48 hours.

Sources familiar with the matter said that Israel does not have to free any terrorists for Edan Alexander, but will have to cease fire and end drone surveillance long enough for the hostage to be freed.
A source "familiar with the matter" told Axios reporter Barak Ravid that Israel will not have to free Palestinian terrorists in exchange for Edan Alexander, but will have to briefly cease fire and end drone surveillance long enough to allow for the hostage to be handed over.
The ceasefire will last a few hours, according to Israel Hayom.
Hamas announced that it is freeing Alexander as a good will gesture to jump-start negotiations to reintroduce aid into the Gaza Strip and bring about an end to the war. Thus far, no Israeli official has made any commitment in this direction.
