It's A Good Start
Netanyahu: Edan Alexander could be freed in hostage deal with Hamas
In a closed session of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, the Prime Minister said that there are other deals Israel is considering aside from the Witkoff parameters.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that American-Israeli hostage Edan Alexander may be freed in one of the possible hostage deals being negotiated.
In a closed session before the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, the Prime Minister said that Israel is considering a number of possible deals with Hamas.
One of these is the Witkoff proposal, which would lead to the freeing of the hostages in to stages, without the unequivocal promise of an end to the war demanded by Hamas before the second stage.
Other options may involve the release of fewer hostages, or even "just" Edan Alexander, an American-Israeli being held hostage by Hamas, as a gesture to the Trump administration, in exchange for a lower price for Israel to pay.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently addressed claims of rifts between himself and President Trump, saying that he talks to the President regularly and that they largely agree on key issues. Media reports of a rift between them are politically-driven, he said.
