The Prime Minister's Office announced today (Monday) that Mossad Director Dedi Barnea has returned from a meeting in Doha with CIA Director William Burns and Qatari Prime Minister al-Thani regarding a possible hostage deal.

The statement continued that current negotiations are seeking a "unified framework" combining previous proposals and taking recent developments in the region into consideration.

Hamas leaders have expressed an openness to the Egyptian proposal of a partial hostage and prisoner release in exchange for a temporary truce, so long as it ultimately leads to their core demands: an end to the war and complete IDF withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
