Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s son was lightly wounded during military operations on the Lebanon border. His office confirms he is in stable condition following a heavy Hezbollah anti-tank missile attack.

The office of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich confirmed Friday that the Minister's son was wounded during operational military activity on the Lebanese border.

According to the official statement from the Minister’s office, the soldier's injuries are minor. "Thank God, his condition is light and he is doing well," the statement read.

The injury occurred amid a significant escalation in the northern sector.

On Thursday night, three IDF soldiers were wounded during a heavy Hezbollah attack targeting two military outposts in Southern Lebanon.

Details of the Incident:

The Attack: Approximately ten anti-tank missiles were fired toward IDF positions.

Casualties: One soldier was seriously wounded, one moderately, and a third sustained light injuries. All were evacuated to hospitals for medical treatment.

IDF Response: Following the missile fire, IDF forces launched an extensive combined assault targeting the sources of the fire and Hezbollah terrorist cells in the area.

This report follows several days of high-intensity combat as part of "Operation Roaring Lion" during which the IDF has been conducting ground and air operations to dismantle Hezbollah infrastructure along the border.
