Labor Party Leader Michaeli Admits: This PA Cannot Rule Gaza

Labor Party Leader Merav Michaeli joined in on the critique of the PA Foreign Ministry denial of the Hamas massacre at Re'im saying a "renewed" PA needed to take control instead.

Labor Party Chairwoman Merav Michaeli fiercely criticized the Palestinian Authority’s Foreign Ministry today (Sunday) for claiming that Hamas did not carry out the massacre at the Re’im party.

In a statement she issued, she said she “strongly condemns the lie of the Palestinian Foreign Ministry for accusing Israel of killing Israelis at the nature party in Re’im. This is not the Authority which needs to control the Strip the day after, but a renewed Palestinian Authority with which we need to arrive at a political settlement which will bring real security.”

Netanyahu: We Will Not Allow the Gazan Civil Administration to Be Run By a Terror Denier

Michaeli joins a growing chorus across the political spectrum in condemnation of the PA. Earlier today, the Prime Minister sharply attacked the Palestinian Authority:

“It’s not enough that Abu Mazen has refused to condemn the terrible massacre for 44 days, now his people are denying this massacre and turning the tables on Israel.” According to Netanyahu, “Holocaust denier Abu Mazen now also denies the massacre of Hamas-ISIS.”

According to Netanyahu, “I want to be clear – on the day after we eliminate Hamas, we will not allow the ones who run the civil administration in Gaza to deny terror, to support terror, to pay terror, and teach their children terror and the elimination of the State of Israel. This, we will not allow.”

Lapid: “Those who deny the massacre become a partner in the terrible crime themselves”

The Opposition Leader joined in on these condemnations. In a statement he put out, he said “I join the emphatic condemnation of Prime Minister Netanyahu of the contemptible and false statement of the Palestinian Foreign Ministry. Those who deny the massacre, become a partner themselves in the most terrible crime against the Jewish People since the Holocaust.”
