During the visit that President Herzog and his wife Michal made today (Monday) to the Gaza Strip envelope, they met with their son, the fighter who was recruited into the reserves and left today for a short refresher from the fighting in Gaza. The delighted parents did not hide their excitement at meeting their son.

Earlier today, the country's president Isaac Herzog with the president of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier toured the remains of the houses of Kibbutz Be'eri and from there they continued to the local gallery that was completely burned during the murderous terrorist attack by Hamas.

During the tour of the place, the German President announced the intention of the German Parliament to donate about 7 million euros for the reconstruction of the gallery. The two also visited the "Be'eri Press" printing house, which suffered severe damage in the events of October 7.
