Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly claimed that a solution to the persistent explosive drone threat on Israel’s northern border has been found and will be implemented within days, according to a prominent local official.

Moshe Davidovich, head of the Mateh Asher Regional Council and chairman of the Conflict Zone Forum, revealed the details of a phone call with the prime minister during a Wednesday interview with Channel 12 News. According to Davidovich, Netanyahu emphasized that the specific nature of the operational response remains a closely guarded secret.

Demanding Answers for the North

The conversation took place against the backdrop of continuous security concerns for residents of northern Israel, who have faced months of displacement and targeted attacks. During the call, Netanyahu praised recent government decisions, prompting Davidovich to steer the conversation back to the immediate safety of his constituents.

"I told him, 'Mr. Prime Minister, that is all well and good, but the security of the residents is still not resolved. 'People here still don't feel safe, and they can't sleep all night.' "

In response to these concerns, Netanyahu assured the northern leader that the military threat posed by explosive drones, which have caused significant IDF casualties, is actively being countered.

"The issue of the drones, I already have a solution," Netanyahu reportedly said. "The matter is solved. In the upcoming days, everyone will know."

When pressed by Davidovich for specific details on how the military plans to neutralize the threat, the prime minister declined to elaborate, citing operational security.

"I asked what the solution was, and he said he could not detail it because it's a secret," Davidovich said.
